Billing and Insurance
Midwest Pediatric Specialists is pleased to work with many insurance companies. Patients are responsible for contacting their insurance company to verify that our physicians are covered under their plan prior to scheduling an appointment.
Copays are expected at the time of service. Please note that patients will be responsible for fees not covered by insurance. All outstanding balances must be paid prior to the next visit.
Some insurance plans might not cover all services, or the plan may require a referral to be seen by our Specialists. Referrals are the responsibility of the patient. We ask patients to check with their insurance plan before their appointment to clarify coverage.
Payment Options
Patient Portal
Payments may be made using the Patient Portal. Patients must register with our office to use the portal. Access to the patient portal also includes online appointment registration, access to medical charts, and direct messaging with our providers. If you are not registered or are having trouble accessing the patient portal, please contact our scheduling department at 913-310-0482.
Guest Pay
Guest Pay is a payment feature that does not require registration. Anyone (e.g., spouse, etc….) can make a payment using Guest Pay. as long as they know the patient’s account number to ensure payment is made to the correct account. The account number can be found on the patient’s statement.
